Be still and know.....
There is nothing quite like spending a day walking the trails of places you have never explored and finding those perfect shots. It is in looking through the lens of a camera that you find scenes you may not have been able to appreciate otherwise. I have not had to travel too far to find breathtaking scenery, historically valuable locations and greatly educational landmarks. In all the years I have lived here, I didn't realize until now, that there is so much to see, so much I haven't seen and so much more I plan on capturing on camera. Stay tuned for more, for my adventurous side is coming out with a vengeance!

One safe place
The Bridges of Northern Ontario
Bridges have always had some symbolic value for me. A bridge is used to "cross" to something new, something different. A bridge leads to a change of scenery, location, place and can affect your person in so many possible ways. Architecturally speaking, bridges are pleasing to the eye, and most if not all have a story to tell. Whether it's about the young kids who had their first kiss there, or the little children chasing bubbles or the elderly couple, walking together, holding hands, reminiscing about the past. I like to imagine who might have walked these bridges and where they were at, not at that specific moment while crossing the bridge, but in their lives in general.
