Remembrance Day
Take notice....
Very few of these pictures are finished in color. There is a great significance behind this and it is done intentionally. Although we are grateful on this day of remembrance, we also are grieving the loss of some amazing people, hence the dark and quiet tones. Sepia, black and white and some with a hint of color to accent what is most significant in the photo, serve to emphasize what is most important; the solitude, respect, acknowledgment, appreciation and repose of those who, although they have lost their lives, are far from having lost the war, for they went out with dignity, pride for their country and their fellow and respect for the integrity that should rightfully be ours and our soldiers keep fighting to maintain....ours and that of others.
