Garden Glory - Anne Denise Mejaki
A loving mother of two beautiful, accomplished adults, a devoted wife, a caring and nurturing friend, Anne Denise Mejaki is one artist that has definitely had an impact on my life.
Much like her person, Anne Denise Mejaki's garden is the epitome of glory and beauty. Every last inch of the land her home rests on, has been carefully planned and contemplated for many many hours if not days. Each little intricate part and piece of this breathtaking, creatively structured landscape, is representative of someone or something that has played a crucial part in her life.
When walking the grounds, as she explains how every single ornament, each fence, post, lamp, pot, flower, each everything...has become a part of her piece of art others may call a garden (which I choose to call a masterpiece) you are not only walking with her on her path of tributes, but you are also remembering the value of family, friends, the memories you make with them and what impact they have had or still have on you and the person you are. Her degree of appreciation is humbling to say the least, and more often than once, I found myself lost in quiet contemplation where my own life and finding a balance was concerned. Anne Denise inspires others to make their dreams their reality and she has been so exemplary in demonstrating that it can, in fact, be done. She does what she has always loved doing now, as a living. She creates art. The masterpieces she brings to life are not only stemming (pardon the pun) from the earth, but coming from her canvas, aided in part by her paint brushes and selections, but born from love, understanding, compassion and pure appreciation for life and people. She is a gardener extraordinaire, a painter I shall compare to no other and a person I feel privileged to call my friend and I am so incredibly appreciative that she has not only allowed me to photograph her garden, but has so willingly accepted to have me post the pictures on this website. Thank you Anne Denise...for everything! Find out more about Anne Denise's art by clicking on this direct link.

Thank you Anne Denise, not only for having welcomed me into your home and garden, but also for having given me permission to show these pictures and be a part of something magnificent. Thank you for being you and the friend you are! Until the next tea party!
